Access to Inclusive

E-Net advocates for equitable access to quality formal education from pre-primary and kindergarten to tertiary with basic education as compulsory. System and Lifelong

Within the framework of lifelong learning, E-Net advocates for the development of relevant, cultural sensitive, diverse and community-based alternative learning systems in the country to reach out to more marginalized children, youth and adults. E-Net engages the process of School Improvement\u00a0Planning integrating positive discipline and\u00a0<\/span>strengthening child protection mechanisms. E-Net advocates for the rights, welfare and\u00a0professional development of the teaching sector. It has completed \u201cA Review of the Magna Carta for Public School Teachers: Status of Implementation After 50 Years\u201d to better inform education policy and decision making in upholding teachers\u2019 rights and effect change\u00a0<\/span>that can start by fully and correctly implementing the provisions of the teachers\u2019 special law.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In consultation with education stakeholders across\u00a0sectors, E-Net prepares the alternative budget for\u00a0<\/span>education to be proposed to education agencies and\u00a0<\/span>the legislative in the annual government budget\u00a0<\/span>preparations and deliberations. At the local level, E-Net member organizations engage in local budget\u00a0<\/span>processes through the Local School Boards and Local Development Councils. E-net supports capacity\u00a0<\/span>building of CSOs on education financing through\u00a0<\/span>trainings on budget literacy and advocacy.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

E-Net promotes strategies for gender-fair education\u00a0which goes beyond parity in access and aims for full\u00a0<\/span>gender equality.
