presentation about Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, Gender Expression, and Sex Characteristics (SOGIESC), and how education helps in reducing inequalities and reaching gender equality on July 20 to BS Economics students at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (Official)<\/p><p>\u201cBEYOND THE BINARY: Bakit Valid ang Beshy ko?\u201d is a SOGIESC Awareness webinar that seeks to challenge cultural expectations and biases that limit how people perceive gender.&nbsp;<\/p><p>Daryl discussed how education plays a great role in achieving each of the other Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).&nbsp; He also debunked the misconception that the SOGIESC Equality bill provides special rights for LGBTQIA++ community only. He highlighted that the bill will protect all persons from discrimination on the basis of their SOGIESC. Further, he shared E-Net Philippines initiatives and actions in addressing Gender-based Violence (GBV) in different learning environments.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div
