IN PHOTOS: 11th E-Net Biennial General Assembly held last November 10-12, 2023 in hybrid format, via Zoom and at the Development Academy of the Philippines, Tagaytay City.

A half-day learning session on gender equality in education was conducted on the first day. Dr. Carolyn Sobritchea from the University of the Philippines talked about the gender policies in education while Susmita Choudhury from the ASPBAE – Adult Education and Lifelong Learning in the Asia South Pacific discussed gender-responsive education and addressing gender-based violence.

During the following days, E-Net successfully took stock of the lessons learned from its achievements and challenges in doing education advocacies, engagements, and internal collaboration from 2021-2023. Moreover, E-Net Members worked together on formulating the E-Net Sectoral and National Agenda. Members had a consensus on priority issues, strategies, and approaches guided by its recent strategic planning.

On the last day, E-Net members selected its new set of the National Advocacy Council (NAC) representatives and elected the new National Executive Board (NEB).
