E-Net Philippines’ member teacher organizations gathered in a Leaders’ Forum and Press Conference

LOOK: E-Net Philippines’ member teacher organizations gathered in a Leaders’ Forum and Press Conference held yesterday, October 13, 2023, at Quezon City. Teachers wave placards to draw attention to the challenges and issues they faced in the current educational landscape.

The teachers call for the need to reflect if “MATATAG o MATAGTAG Ba ang Daan Para sa Guro?”. The crucial role teachers play in education and society was highlighted in the forum. Teachers advocate for government action to protect and support teachers’ rights and well-being. 

The following are their main calls to government and other stakeholders: 

Recognize Teachers as Both Education Workers and Duty-bearers.

Protect and Support Teachers’ Rights, Well-being, and Dignity.

Elevate the Status of the Teaching Profession.
