PRIDE IS A PROTEST
PRIDE IS A PROTEST. June is a commemoration of resistance against police brutality in 1969 when police officers raid on a gay bar called Stonewall inn that prompted demonstrations by members of the LGBTQIA++ community. This led to the gay movement which paved the way for the recognition of the human rights of the LGBTQIA++ community.
LGBTQIA++ rights are human rights; that’s why E-Net Philippines is in solidarity with the community and fully supports the passage of the SOGIESC Equality bill.
E-Net Philippines believes that ending all forms of gender-based discrimination is not only a basic human right, but it also has an intersectional effect across all development areas.
Let us ensure a Safe, Accessible, and Inclusive Education Environment that supports the Learning of All Children and Youth, regardless of their SOGIESC!
End Discrimination on the Basis of Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, Gender Expression, or Sex Characteristics (SOGIESC)!
Pass the SOGIESC Equality Bill, NOW!
