HAPPENING NOW: E-Net Capacity Building on Local Budget Advocacy at the Parkland Suites, National Highway, Balindog, Kidapawan City, Cotabato.

Local Budget Advocacy is a critical component of E-Net’s efforts to ensure adequate and effective allocation of resources for education at the local level.

This activity aims to deepen the understanding of E-Net members in Mindanao including the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) about the budget cycle process, its importance for education, and the role of citizen’s advocacy.

The opportunities for education-related allocations such as Local School Board and Special Education Fund were discussed along with the strategies necessary in effective advocacy for increased education financing with special concern for the marginalized, excluded and vulnerable sectors.
